RENM Audi R8 V10 Spyder Previewed

Earlier this year, RENM performance decided that it had to play with the V8 incarnation of the Audi R8, releasing the Enigma tuned creation. Now, the Australian tuning company is working on an enhancement for the V10-powered, topless incarnation of the German supercar.

The company is offering us a preview of the upcoming project, which is scheduled to come to the world in November.

The Audi R8 V10 Spyder will be gifted with modified front and rear aprons that are made of carbon kevlar and carbon fiber composites.

The front and rear body sections are made from carbon kevlar and carbon fiber composites to improve the vehicle’s handling dynamics and weight distribution between the front and rear axles,” stated the press release.

The tuner only likes to speak about the rear of the vehicle (the car will also get a power upgrade so this will probably be the part of it that you are most likely to see if you are on the road).

The vehicle uses a modified rear bumper that will include a rear diffuser with a generously-sized, Lamborghini-inspired exhaust tip. The car will also benefit from extra downforce, which will be provided by a new rear wing.

"The illustration highlights a complete re-design of the rear section which offers a much more aggressive aspect to the existing Audi R8 Spyder," stated the press release.

As for the added muscle that we were talking about, RENM announced that the R8’s 5.2 liter V10 FSI powerplant, which offers 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque when it leaves the Audi factory, will be whipped to deliver 600 hp and a maximum torque of 585 Nm.
