Every year, MINI USA puts together probably the best experience in the world for the brand’s fans entitled: MINI TAKES THE STATES (yeah, in all caps).
During such events, fans all over the US can join in and have fun with other dedicated drivers like themselves crossing the country from one coast to the other aboard their car.
The company just announced that the registration for this year’s edition is now open at MINITAKESTHESTATES.com. For adults, the entry fee is $45 while kinds under 12 and pets can go at it for free.
On July 26, in San Francisco, California, the madness will begin, taking the daredevils through a cross-country experience covering 18 states and 15 cities in 14 days, taking them all the way to Boston where the adventure will end on Sunday, August 10.
“We’ve seen so much excitement and anticipation from the MINI community online and on our social channels that we really hope this year’s MINI TAKES THE STATES sets a new record,” said David Duncan, Vice President MINI of the Americas.
“This will be my third MINI TAKES THE STATES and I’m calling on all owners to come out and Motor with us. You won’t be sorry!” he added.
Part of the proceedings will go to the Best Friends Animal Society foundation, the official partner of MTTS 2014.
