When one has a reckless rider and a reckless pedestrian in the same place and at the same time, the result is by all means made of pain.
The rider will lose his license: not because of the crash, but because he is stupid enough to pass the car in front exactly on the pedestrian crossing and keeps on riding in the opposed lane even with the double line clearly visible.
This accident happens in such a textbook-clear way, the police need no additional footage to establish who did what, and who's to blame. Of course, the pedestrian gets half of the blame, too, for crossing the street in a place where this was obviously forbidden.
However, all this could have easily been avoided if the ignorant rider kept in lane and waited for another occasion to pass the two cars. Bad for him, bad for the pedestrian, and the thing that hurts eve more – bad for the motorcycling community.
