What do you do when you find yourself in Santa Monica and you’re bored? Well, a group of Internet-hungry friends decided to answer that question by playing a real-life Mario Kart game and uploaded their adventure on Youtube for us to see.
While we only have three players, the footage makes the notion of “action-packed” seem like an understatement. As for how legal or safe these people’s stunts were, you’ll be able to figure that out the moment you hit the “play” button.

With their almost tiny electric karts, the three gather a lot of attention in Los Angeles, with people going as far as taking selfies with them or turning to dynamic high-five moves. Nevertheless, we'll stop the spoilers here.

While the reasons for which you shouldn’t try this at home are obvious, this is far from the first attempt of giving the world a reality bound perspective of Mario Kart.

For one thing, we’ve been following French prankster Remi Gaillard for years, with the man pulling a much more serious stunt of this kind in his home country about six years ago. We uploaded his clip below. Oh and, by the way, the video has racked up 63 million Youtube views meanwhile.

Another example we’re familiar with features a digital Mario Kart makeover of a supercar cruise, one we wrote about earlier this year. While the banana moves were coming from world of 1s and 0s, the once again illegal road action was as real as it gets.
