The Toyota Century is a full size luxury sedan produced mainly for the Japanese market, so seeing one in China is a pretty rare opportunity.
However, this export model (left-hand drive) was spotted recently in China, wearing black license plates, indicating that it’s owned by a foreign-funded company.

The second generation Toyota Century is powered by a 5-liter V12 engine, making 280 PS, mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Like other cars in the luxury segment, the Century is designed with the rear passengers in mind, having rear reclining seats with massage system, electric opening and closing doors, wool cloth upholstery.

The Century is so cool in Japan that even the Emperor has one. It’s called the Century Royal and it’s more longer than the normal production version. It also has wool cloth upholstery, internal granite entry steps and Japanese rice paper headlining as well as undisclosed security measures.
