Racing Dynamics Working on the 2011 F10 BMW 5 Series Tuning Program

Racing Dynamics has joined the precocious league of tuners which already propose a tuning package for the upcoming 2011 F10 BMW 5 Series, as bimmertoday reports.

The Racing Dynamics view of the next 5 series includes both technical and visual modifications. The “base” tuned model, the 535i, now called the R35 will be 34% more powerful than the factory version, producing 410 HP, and will offer an M5 rivaling torque figure of 530 Nm (383.5 lb-ft). One result of all that extra grunt will be a 0-100 km/h time of 5.3 seconds. For comparison, the standard 535i deals with the first hundred in 6 seconds flat.

If this is not enough for you, the 550i-based R50S big brother should be. Mainly because the twin-turbo V8 of the 550i will be boosted from its stock value of 407 HP to an Audi RS6-humiliating 620 HP. In order for the car to maintain its ultimate driving machine purpose the parent company originally built it to serve, Racing Dynamics will offer a new sport suspension, rear-locking differential (capable of offering up to 80% lock) and a special  performance braking system. For this version of the 5 series the company has chosen to advertise not the acceleration times but the top speed, which is expected to be 340 km/h, as the cited source wrote.

Both models will feature the tuning company’s 21″ single piece forged wheels. No further details have been offered about the available exterior styling package(s). However, a teaser image has been released.

The interior of the cars will receive a carbon fiber trimming available in various colors. Wood trim will also be available.
