The 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will showcase the debut of several models developed under the brands General Motors currently owns, including Cadillac and GMC. Although official details are yet to be revealed - despite the fact that the show is scheduled to begin in a few days - GM's PR Chris Preuss said in a Twitter post that the US-based manufacturer will display the GMC Granite, the Cadillac XTS Concept and the Aveo RS.
The CTS-V Coupe concept will also attend the show, GM announced in a statement earlier this year.
"Cadillac will premiere a new concept car at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 12, the latest in its series of dynamic designs. This latest concept advances the brand’s Art & Science philosophy that has included a series of acclaimed concept cars in recent years, such as the Cadillac Sixteen, CTS Coupe Concept and Converj. The 2011 CTS-V Coupe will make its world premiere in Detroit as well, and will enter into production in the summer of 2010," the statement reads.
Last but not least, Chris Liddell will attend the show for the first time as GM vice chairman and chief financial officer.
"Chris brings a depth and experience to this job that were unmatched in our search for a new financial leader," said Ed Whitacre, GM chairman and CEO. "Chris will lead our financial and accounting operations on a global basis and will report directly to me. We're also looking to his experience and insights in corporate strategy as a member of the senior leadership team in helping our restructuring efforts."
