These are exciting times if you're a millionaire with a passion for cars. Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari have all revealed their very expensive, very fast hybrid hypercars. At least two of them have descended upon California.
A.TWorldChannel last week spotted the McLaren P1 at the Rodeo Car Show with Jay Leno behind the wheel and yesterday scooped this beauty in an underground parking garage. The Porsche 918 Spyder has already been announced for Pebble Beach and has been filmed two weeks ahead of the event.

The model rivered in evocative racing colors is fully equipped with the indicators, the taillights and all the other small touches that make it production-ready, unlike the previously shown examples.

The 918 Spyder will be shown at various locations throughout the Monterey peninsula during the weekend, including at the Porsche Zentrum at Quail Lodge, Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
