Keith Flint, THE Keith Flint of Prodigy fame is taking a fist shot at Isle of Man TT this year and he will bring his team to the Snaefell mountain, official TT sources report.
Flint is a huge fan of road racing, and back in December 2013 we reported about his British Supersport entry with Team Traction Control, fielding riders James Rispoli and Steve Mercer. The latter will be riding the team’s Suzuki machinery in the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock races, as Flint declares, with no presence in the Lightweight or other classes.

"I've known Steve Mercer for a few years now and he's a great lad. I am a fan who has built a team around passion, the best driving force for any motorsport. It's something I'm really into. I think that the riders that do the TT are a special breed and these guys are true warriors. What I do is effortless compared to the guys that line up on the grid. We are coming here humbly to do our best and I'm aware that my profile is in music not motorsport."

The Prodigy frontman says that the TT debut presence will be a test to see if the team is well prepared for the very serious efforts everybody must make, and seeing that everything runs to plan is already a successful presence. Steve Mercer is at his 5-th presence in the Isle of Man race and Flint adds that if he manages to beat his own lap time, then he leaves the 2014 TT extremely happy.

TT sources also advise that Prodigy fans should not expect to see the band play live until the 24 May- 6 June event is over, as Keith took some time off to prepare for the TT.
