Recent reports suggest that, apart from the Macan crossover, Porsche is also planning on releasing another car which will sit below the Panamera in the range. The new car will be launched as both a sedan and a shooting break.
According to Autobild, the car is called Pajun and it is expected to be ready for launch in 2017, being the 6th model in the line-up. This is an yet another deviation from what the cars that Porsche used to make ‘back in the day’. The sedan is expected to receive VW-sourced 4-cylinder engines for the entry level version but also some V6 power plants are expected, along with a hybrid version.

However, we cannot be sure that this information is completely accurate, as a Porsche spokesman recently said that “there were many ideas for a sixth model but decisions had not been taken". We’ll keep you up to date with the latest developments as the story progresses.
