Porsche Design Introduces Exclusive Advent Calendar

The world of Porsche Design is about to be revealed day by day up to December 24 thanks to the exclusive Advent Calendar launched by the German designers today. Worth no less than one million dollars, the Porsche Design Advent Calendar is limited to one piece per continent.

Measuring approximately 1.75 metres (69 inches) high and made of brushed aluminium with double-coat finish surfaces, the Advent Calendar conceals three special highlights: a Porsche Design P’6910 Indicator in rosé gold, an individually customisable Porsche Design Kitchen P’7340 and a motor yacht, eight and a half metres long.

Taken separately, the P’6910 Indicator chronograph consists of approximately 800 individual components, hiding a 6036 movement from Eterna.

The P’7340 Kitchen combines aluminium, wood and glass, as well as an innovative frame construction. One special highlight is the handle-less cupboards and a number of high tech audio-video systems.

Finally, the Motor Yacht RFF2 is just under eight and a half metres (335 inches) in length and more than two and a half metres (99 inches) wide. It has a 525 hp Mercury engine and reaches top speeds of up to 92 mph (148 km/h).

Behind the calendar’s 24 windows, accentuated by light bars, many other highlights by Porsche Design are hidden, These include sunglasses made of 18 carat yellow gold, writing tools, cufflinks and the Bounce:S2 running shoe. A limited edition leather blouson made from hand-woven lambskin nappa, as well as a travel assortment from the French Classic luggage series are also on the list.
