Remember the worn-out Martini Livery Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK we showed you earlier this year? Well, a Cayman GT4 has now been gifted with a similar wrap and we're here to talk about the piece of mid-engined eye-candy.
This Zuffenhausen macine started out in life using one of the four standard colors of the GT4, namely White. Nevertheless, its owner, Instagram user Thomas Michael Thornley Groves, wanted to add a custom touch to his 911-threatening mid-engine Porscha, so he went for the look you can see here.
The British Porsche afficionado, who has been enjpoying the wrap for some two weeks now, explains the second skin job looks even better in the metal vynil: "Thanks for all the positive comments and likes about the new wrap... Can't tell you how detailed and life like this wrap is. Pictures just don't do it justice..."
With the styling details of the wrap being extremely close (if not identical) to those we saw on the GT3 RS mentioned in the intro, we asume the design comes from the same Californian artist, who likes to call himself Skepple. The wrap was installed by Manchester-based specialist R&A Prestige Wrapping.
Since a seven-year-old could tell apart a GT4 and a "standard" Cayman, some of you might wonder what drove the owner to take his Porsche further down the individuality road.
For one thing, this man's car needed its paint to be protected. The onwer enjoys taking part in road rallies, having attended two of these events since the second skin was added.
And when you engage in such an adventure, the road debris that can shave the pain off your machine's nose aren't the only thing you need to worry about - what if your Cayman suddenly trapped in an incredibly large sheep traffic jam? We're not kidding, this GT4 actually faced such a situation last week.
