Porsche insists that while it is an SUV, the Cayenne still offers all the values of sportiness that their brand stands for. Well not any more, because the Chinese have no shame!
We’ve heard rumors that people in China really don’t understand what brand dilution is, because up until a few years ago they had never seen a Lamborghini, a Ferrari or a Porsche. Europeans might think that the Lambo or Bentley SUV is blasphemy and an insult to the heritage, but when heritage in a growing economy only dates back to 2008, it really doesn’t mean anything.

What we have here is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, based on the last generation of the car and powered by a 4.8-liter with 550 horsepower. It’s been stretched out to no end and it would be interesting to fit say 12 people and a bride with her huge dress through those back doors.
