Porsche Boxster S (981) Launch Control Test

As the hot hatches move further and further up the power ladder, sports cars have started to become threatened by the compact fighters and so their producers made efforts to prevent their classic recipe go-fast machines from being threatened by hot hatches.
In Porsche’s case, this meant that the new Boxster, which was released earlier this year, is miles ahead of the one it replaces, using tricks such as a weight reduction program to achieve this.

The fresh 981 generation Boxster S comes with a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 5 seconds flat (when using the PDK gearbox), with the vehicle using a launch control function.
