The Porsche 959 was Stuttgart’s way of giving the finger to Maranello in the 80s’, as well as some sort of connection between a supercar and a Group B rally car. Today, the world only holds a few hundred units of the 959 and we do not know any automotive enthusiast who wouldn’t want one.
Unfortunately, we have to tell you that this species just got one of its examples killed, with a white 959 being crashed in Montreal over the weekend. The driver seems to have lost control during a bend, ending up in the situation we see in the adjacent images. Oh and there’s one special aspect about the driver - he was reportedly wearing flip-flops.

However, judging by the images, the car looks like it can be put back on the road with some work, so let’s hope that it’s only a matter of time before it gets to chase an F40.
