You don’t see a lowered Porsche too often, simply thanks to the fact that Porsche drivers have better things to do with their cars. Nevertheless, the 911 in these images was unfortunate enough to have been slammed... by a Volkswagen Touareg.
The Porsche, which seems to be a 997-generation Carrera 4S, was sitting quietly in an underground parking lot when the Panamera platform-sharing Touareg decided to trample all over it.

In fact, the VW SUV didn’t take that decision autonomously. It appears its female driver was trying to find her way around the parking lot when she noticed she was approaching the sportscar. We’re not sure whether the classic “throttle-confused-for-the-brake” explanation is true or not, but you can see the result. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the accident.

Ironically, the Porsche was wearing a Red cover at the time, but now the dust on the car will be the last thing the owner has to worry about.

As you can see in the gallery bellow, there is also a photo that shows the car without its cover and we can observe the extensive damage done by the Touareg.

While this isn’t exactly just the tip of the iceberg, there’s still some extra damage we can’t see, such as the one on the suspension. Oh well, at least the rear-engined nature of the Neunelfer spared the flat six of the ordeal.

Yes, that’s a good spot. While the Touareg’s front fascia appears to belong to the pre-facelift second generation model, the headlights come from the revamped version of the previous generation. Don’t worry though, this is just one of the oddities exhibited by the Chinese market.

Speaking of which, some say this crushed 911 still looks better than the Chinese Porsche Cayman copycat wearing a Ferrari face.
