Porsche 911 Service Clinic Date Announced

The British division of Porsche announced today it has set the date for the Service Clinic dedicated to its Porsche 911 model. Owners are therefore invited to visit nationwide Porsche Centres on Saturday October 16, 2010, and bring their car along to be inspected by company technicians.

“The national Porsche 911 Service Clinic provides owners with a complimentary inspection and the opportunity to accompany the technician and view their car in a state of the art Porsche workshop. Owners can experience first hand the passion and expertise of the technicians devoted to ensuring the cars continue to deliver maximum performance and driving pleasure,”
a company statement reads.

Customers will also get the chance to learn more about their model’s heritage and technical highlights, as each Porsche Centre will showcase a classic 911 display, provide four wheel alignment demonstrations and invite visitors to enter a prize draw offering the chance to win a detailed 1:18 scale model of the Porsche 901 (1964) from the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection range.

The Porsche 911 Service Clinic follows the Boxster Service Clinic held earlier this year, which serviced over 440 Porsche Boxsters around the country in one day. The inspections are by prior appointment only and available on a first come first served basis.

The sports car manufacturer also announced back in July that customers will benefit from an extended warranty on the brand’s Approved Used cars to two years. Every Approved Used Porsche has to pass a 111-point check at a Porsche Centre prior to its re-sale in order to endorse and underwrite its provenance.
