Any Porsche that was born as a 911 GT3 RS should consider itself extremely fortunate, but some of these machines are luckier than others. Let's take the one in the footage below, for example.
This Rennsport Neunelfer has at least two reasons to be overly pleased with its life. The first comes thanks to its custom exhaust, which allows the 500 hp flat-six at its back to fully express its emotions. We're talking about a piece of hardware coming from GMG Racing.

Now, we're not the kind who consider the standard exhaust of the GT3 RS anything less than fitting. However, the exhaust we have here is in another league altogether, being a brilliant tool for initiating outsiders into the ways of the Zuffenhausen world.

As for the second reason to celebrate this Porsche has, it's all connected to the way in which the rear-engined machine is being used. As you'll be able to see in the footage, this Porsche is fully allowed to stretch its mechanical legs.

There are many categories of 911 GT3 RS units that can be less than happy with their livers. We'll start with the ones that get traded for easy profit, with the speculators that pretend to be the first owners usually abusing the cars during the few dozen miles they spend in the driver's seat.

Then there are the cars that end up being treated as garage queens. Sure, Lava Orange or Ultraviolet Blue look nothing short of stunning when perfectly polished and kept indoors, but when such treatment is applied to an RS badge, the story is sad.

At the limit, the GT3 RS can become a bit of a handful and there are obviously owners who find this out the hard way. And we don't expect their cars to be happy.

Returning to the 911 GT3 RS we have here, you'll be able to get a full taste of its aural side in the clip below, since the car performs on an empty airfield runway.
