Polaris ATV Gets Chevy V8 Engine

So, we’ve established that we really need to spend some quality time with a wheeled creation in order to keep our brain at maximum working capacity (yes, for some of us this kind of activities really acts as a medicine). However, it is difficult to choose the most interesting activity, as the world is full of possibilities.

In order to offer a potential solution to this problem, we’ll use one of America’s most interesting questions: “what can you V8?”

The list of answers probably ranges from a shaving machine to... your house, but today we’ve chosen to show you what happens when a V8 powerplant and an ATV become friends. Friends that are closer to each other than they should be.

The adjacent video shows us a Polaris ATV that has had its engine swapped with a big-block Chevy V8. In other words, this are 454 cubic inches of madness.

The 7.4 liter V8, which uses dual Holley carbs, is also friends with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, which is sandwiched between the unit and the solid-axle rear end.
