Pittsburgh Pirates’ starting pitcher Francisco Liriano y Casillas recently got his Mercedes-Benz S63 over at Mc Customs Miami-based auto shop for a bit of custom touch. The luxury saloon got Forgiato wheels, blacked out accents and custom finished Red Brake Calipers.
The Dominican left-handed pitcher previously played for the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox, and is since February last year starting pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Liriano started the 2013 season on the Pirate’s 15-day disabled list due an injury to his non-throwing arm, but debuted on May 11 against the New York Mets. His improved command by changing his pitching mechanics has led to a 16-8 record as of September 25.

Point is, these baseball players might not be superstars on field but they definitely know about their cars. Take Baltimore Orioles’ Nelson Cruz, who also took his Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG to the shop, or LA Angels Anaheim’s Mike Trout, who got a 2014 Chevrolet Stingray during the Most Valuable Player award ceremony.

As to Liriano’s ride, well besides it’s the most powerful high-performance saloon in the luxury segment, the S63 AMG sets new standards in terms of driving dynamics, lightweight construction and efficiency. This particular four-wheeler comes with blacked out accents, custom finished Red Brake Calipers and lowered on two-tone finished Forgiato Magglia Mono series.
