Pirelli and Scott Campbell Release Tire Tattoo Art

For a motorcycle, tires are even more important than they are for a car, both in the literal and figurative sense. Pirelli has recently decided to give us a new interpretation of the latter part of the aforementioned statement, joining forces with tattoo artist Scott Campbell in order to stun the visitors of its flagship store in Milan, Italy.
Instead of using his skills and tools on skin, Campbell was invited by Pirelli to work on a bike tire, with the artist designing an eye, a heart and a skull on the Diablo Rosso II tire. Subsequently, the special tire was fitted on a Ducati Diavel, which is being showcased at the Corso Venezia store.

And what is motorcycling without a leather jacket? The same patterns were also used for a unique Dianese riding jacket, which also features St. Christopher, who seems to be the patron saint of bike riders.

Please stop the religious jokes...
