Pink Floyd Drummer Buys Suzuki Bandit

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason has taken delivery of a Bandit 650S earlier this summer, revealing that he has chosen this specific Suzuki model for his daily commute into London and now shares the bike with his wife, Annette, who uses it for commuting and weekend rides too.

"I've had many bikes over the years including some big adventure models, but for beating London congestion the Bandit's proved to be perfect. It's agile enough to cut through traffic and has more than enough power when you leave town. With its fairing offering added weather protection, it's been great when the weather hasn't too,"
Mason said in a statement for the press.

Mason is also known for competing in auto racing events, such as 24 Hours of Le Mans. He is also a qualified pilot, and flies an Aerospatiale AS 350 helicopter. Mason also says that his favourite car of all time is the Ferrari 250 GTP and even owns one of only 39 ever built.

The Bandit 650 comes in standard and faired versions and is equipped with features like ABS (faired model only), a gear position indicator and a DC power socket for powering the Sat Nav or charging the phone.

The Bandit 650 range starts from GBP 5,724 on the road and is available on 0% Typical APR finance, with a free restrictor kit available for those on a restricted licence and subject to a fully-comprehensive GBP 99 insurance offer for anyone who passes their test through a Suzuki approved training scheme.
