The Mercedes-Benz SLK has just received a new modification pack from Piecha Design. The project, which uses the R171 Final Performance RS edition name targets the exterior, the interior and the engine of the roadster.

The tuner sees its kit as being a “final edition series” - we have to explain that the current R171 generation of the SLK is currently out of production, with a new generation coming. The kit is suitable for the pre-facelifted, the AMG and the facelifted models.

The exterior of the car has received an aerodynamic package that includes front apron with LED daytime running lights, side skirts with air intakes, a rear bumper that incorporates a diffuser and a rear spoiler lip.

The kit also comes with aluminum aerowings for the bonnet, a special wind deflector. The creation can be dressed in a fire opal semi-matt with a black top or a diamond white metallic semi-matt. As for the interior, this uses a black nappa leather finish with red seams.

The vehicle has been fitted with an Piecha power converter, but the tuner doesn’t offer the exact specification of the output boosting package.

"Every “Final Performance RS Edition” is equipped with the legendary PIECHA power converter, which gives the entire engine performance immediately into the vehicle - without needing a second to realise what is happening and without noticeable inertia of the series-production model - so that the performance can meet the demands of the visual and acoustic presence,” stated the press release.

The vehicle features a set of H&R lowering springs and uses Piecha dp2 Phantom rims. The wheels come in a 19 inch (front) & 20 inch (rear) size and use 225/35 front tires, as well 265/25 rear tires.
