Ladies and gentlemen pickup truckers, prepare to meet the mother of all engine swaps. The truck shown in the adjacent images comes with a powerplant that’s so far away from home it would need a map to get back to its origins.
This truck features a radial engine taken from an airplane. Of course, such a development requires tons and tons of custom tech work. The job is handled by a shop in Spokane, Washington and they’re building a transfer case in order to slip the transmission in.
This is where the details stop for the moment, so we don’t know what airplane the engine is coming from. Regardless of that, the resulting sound alone should be more than enough to set this contraption apart - we expect the thing to sound like Taz, the Tasmanian Devil on maximum attack. The video below offers a sample of that.
