In the US, the Bimmerfest is by now a tradition. This year we celebrated the 14th edition and we're hoping to see many others in the years to come.
In Europe, on the other hand, even though it is the birthplace of BMW, the Bimmerfest doesn't exist. Sure, there are meetings between members of various forums but a proper 'celebration of Bimmers' doesn't officially exist.
Until this year. This year, Holland held the first ever Bimmerfest in Europe, at Trafficport Venlo. Over 1,000 BMWs showed up from all corners of the EU, to pay homage to their favorite Bavarian manufacturer.
I'm sure we don't have to tell you that a lot of M cars and standard BMWs were present next to heavily modified, nearly insane models and even some Alpinas. The photos speak for themselves, thanks to Rob van Dongen.
