It seems no secret is safe these days, as only hours after the Ford Focus RS was leaked online, the Corsa OPC has also made an unplanned web debut. These are press photos of the Vauxhall model, but with the exception of the steering wheel, everything else will be the same.
Official information is likely only hours away from being announced, but we have some spicy details before that. It seems the hot 2015 Corsa was modeled on the OPC Nurburgring Edition and will offer the same mechanical limited slip differential, great for track use. The same twin exhaust, which we showed you only a couple of hours ago, will also be added.
Because the Corsa E is based on the older D model, everything from above door mirrors looks exactly the same. However, a new front end design has been create, with a protruding grille flanked by inverted boomerang headlights with LED accents.
Around the back, the bumper is different, since the twin exhaust tips take the place of that singular triangular piece OPC models used to have. An integrated diffuser has also been installed.
As for the interior, the leather Recaro bucket seats are largely the same as the older model. We can't see anything else, but the cabin will be based around the familiar Corsa E infotainment.
Stay tuned for more info about the model, as Opel is unlikely to keep its 200+ hp pocket rocket under wraps for very long. Ford and Renault could be in big trouble if the OPC is as good as we think, but it will undoubtedly be an expensive little car.
