Peugeot UK Now on Facebook

In today’s marketing flooded world, automotive manufacturers must not only use all the communications channels available but also fully exploit each one’s potential in order to climb the market share tree.

Peugeot’s UK arm knows this and has created a Facebook fan page that automotive and rally enthusiasts can use as an online lounge.

The site offers a large Peugeot models image and video library and features the latest news that keep fans up to date. One of the image & video database’s stars is the new Allure premium range. It also includes videos of the carmaker’s TV adverts including the Allure range, the SR1 concept introduced at the Geneva Auto Show and combines this with interviews with Intercontinental Rally Champion, Peugeot driver Kris Meeke. In addition to that, users can use the page to view a road test of the upcoming RCZ Sports Coupe, which will enter the market next month.

One of the most interesting features of Peugeot’s facebook page is a discussion platform, which allows fans to share opinions on the French marque.

New content will be added to the page over the coming weeks and on an ongoing basis, with more news, videos, road tests, games and images of Peugeot interests creating an even bigger social hub for our fans to share their stories, whether they be Rally fans, car enthusiasts or brand ambassadors,” said Andy Goodall, Internet Manager at Peugeot UK.

Peugeot’s next social media move will be the introduction of an RCZ online phenomenon that will offers fans the opportunity to use their creative skills to create an “advertising campaign with a twist”. This will be introduced on the anticipated RCZ-UK facebook page in the near future.
