In May 2009, French carmaker Peugeot unveiled the 3008, a 5-seater compact crossover. It’s won various awards over the years but we think very few of them were for good styling, because the car looks like some sort of bottom-feeder fish with black lips.
In fact most of the old Peugeot models were criticized for their grinning grille, something they fixed recently in models like the 508 and the 208.

Since it was unveiled in 2009, the 3008 crossover is in for a facelift, or mid-life makeover. And since the once all-French carmaker has such a huge involvement with the Chinese market, it’s not surprising the first exampled of the refreshed 3008 was spotted there.

The changes mainly target the grille, which is now smaller, in line with the new Mitsubishi-based 4008 crossover. The fog lights and their surrounds have been moved from right under the headlights to the lower part of the bumper.
