What do you call a muscular Japanese car that speaks French fluently and adopted Western European styling? You call it a Peugeot 4008, a crossover based on Mitsubishi's ASX or Outlander Sport as it's known in America.
Peugeot gave it some pretty cool, yet a bit exaggerated styling, but factory finish wasn't good enough for German tuners Musketier, who recently took it upon themselves to bring out more character.
This project car they put together shows the different elements they designed for the 4008. This includes a new bolt-on spoiler for the lower front bumper, LED daytime running lights, extra chrome trim, mirror housings and even a bull bar at the front and tubular steel side steps.
A variety of aftermarket wheels wrapped in performance tires is available and tech upgrades include quad sports exhaust and performance air filters.
The resulting machine is still a 4008, only beefier and more aggressive. Check out the gallery below and see what parts you'd like on your crossover.
Musketier also provide similar upgrades for the 3008 crossover, though details about the project are not available at the moment.
