The new Peugeot 208 range goes on sale in the UK from June 28th, with a base price of £9.950 (€12.1517) for the basic 1.0-liter three pot petrol engine in Access trim. Prices rise to £11,695(€14,282) for the Active trim which adds a touch-screen interface for the driver with Bluetooth connectivity, 15 inch alloy wheels and fog-lights.
If you want sports seats, full length panoramic sunroof and larger 17-inch wheels you’ll have to opt for the Feline trim level which is only available on the 1.6-liter engines in both petrol and diesel guise. A fully specced 1.6 e-HDI model with leather, alloys, dual zone climate control, six airbags, touch-screen and tinted windows will cost £17,295(21,121€), a tad more than we were expecting and only time will tell whether this premium over similar cars is justified.

If you want to pay even more for your 208 the limited edition model called Ice Velvet gives you luxury car features and gadgets and is only available as a 1.6-liter two-door model. In this particular spec, it will set you back £18,495€(22,573).
