It's no secret to anyone who ever used a Windows PC before, from simply booting it up to opening Paint, that blue screens, game crashes, errors, freezes, performance issues, and general system instability are all part of the "fun." No matter how much money you put into a PC, you will have problems at some point. However, luckily, Starfield's "PC Master Race" (PCMR) issues aren't related to any one computer, aside from those at Walmart, apparently.
Starfield has encountered another bump in the road after several delays, Xbox framerate debacles, and unpractical AMD exclusivity to the detriment of PC players. These issues only affect a small percentage of the gamer population, but sadly, they paid the most out of everyone to play it.

Walmart customers are complaining that their hard-to-get Constellation Edition orders have been canceled without notice. The angry mob took to Reddit and expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation.

Customers got an email saying "competitive price match," invalidating their order. When others heard about it, they quickly issued refunds, and now, people are reluctant to buy some online items from Walmart.

Here comes the twist! This only affects people who pre-ordered the PC version of Constellation Edition. You could say it's an "Inception" type thing, where Walmart's PCs create problems for PCMR players...

Because Xbox players aren't affected by this "blight." Neither are PlayStation users because you know... the game isn't on PlayStation. Little exclusivity joke there.

Interestingly, Starfield Constellation Edition isn't the only item affected by this error. Another trendy game is also on the fritz. The upcoming Pikmin 4 on Nintendo is getting the same "competitive price match" error.

The worst part seems to be that Walmart employees are as befuddled as the customers. People post the answers they get from employees; conflicting stories aren't uncommon.

Even more interestingly, some people who got their money back are reporting that some Walmart reps have told them they'll still be getting a Constellation Edition at no charge, even though the refund has gone through. "For being our valuable customer," it reads. Pretty lucky!

Walmat's website currently says that the Constellation Edition is "Out of Stock," regardless of the platform. (Especially PlayStation 5)

When it inevitably returns, it's $300, and you get five days Early Access, the Shattered Space Story Expansion when it arrives, a Steelbook Display Case, Constellation Patch, Starfield Chronomark Watch and Case, and Credit Stick with Laser-Etched Game Code.

It's out on September 6, almost one week after the new Carbon Black 1TB Xbox Series S hits shelves for $350. You don't have to pay $300 to play Starfield. It's "free" on Game Pass on PC and Xbox if you're an active subscriber.

Sony announced their Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 Bundle with new face plates, a custom controller, and a Standard Edition voucher for Spidey 2 to rival the Series S's market impact. Pre-orders are going live on July 28, and it comes out on September 1. Spider-Man 2 will be out on October 20.
