Dubbed Furtive e-GT, the project has been created by Exagon Motors, a division of Exagon Engineering, as blogautomobile.fr reports. This is a company that is well-known for its WTCC, GT and Throphee Andros racing collaborations.
The car’s powertrain has been created by Siemens and consists of two electric motors that have a combined power output of 340 hp. This allows the car to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in a brief 3.5 seconds and offer a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). This is electronically limited, as the vehicle would be capable of hitting 186 mph (300 km/h).
Things tend to enter the sci-fi area if we want to talk about the vehicle’ range. This is because the company promises to offers an autonomy of between 124 and 248 miles (200 and 400 km). And the story doesn’t end here. Exagon Enginnering claims that it has fitted the vehicle with a generator that recharges the batteries and offers a total range of between 435 and 497 miles (700 and 800 km).
The company still needs to establish a manufacturing base in order to bring the vehicle into production. This part of the project is expected to be completed next year.
