The Platinum V and Platinum S packages offer complete makeovers, as they target both the styling and technical “fields”.
The Range Rover’s 3.6 liter turbocharged V8 diesel engine receives a power boost of 30 percent, being brought to to 352 hp. Customers who really wish to take a power shower can opt for the 5.0 liter supercharged petrol V8 unit boosting kit, which adds a 26 percent power increase, allowing the engine to deliver 644 hp. This has been achieved through the use of a replacement supercharger, an ECU remap and other “undisclosed tweaks”.
The Platinum packs dresses the SUV in a complete body kit, including new front and rear bumpers, front grille and wheels arches. The kit uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic for the front grille, side vents and rear diffuser.
The Platinum S and Platinum V offer custom large lightweight alloy rims and a buffalo hide perforated leather interior finish, which can be ordered in a wide range of colors.
