Online Leisure Recommendations from Mazda

Mazda’s European division announced today it has just launched a new feature on its press portal, dedicated to the journalists who wish to explore its online database. The portal now displays an extensive list of recommendations for hotels, restaurants and bars all over Europe.

All information at the online database about a particular hotel, bar or restaurant includes the address and contact information, a brief description and key information like price-level. The user can even add this information to a “Favourites” list, or print it in a personalised way.

Users browsing Mazda’s press portal have several options that include:
  • browsing through 26 countries displayed at the website
  • searching for recommendations with a full text search
  • using an interactive map to explore cities throughout Europe

The online database also has a section called “Our Insider Tips.” Here journalists will find practical information from Mazda’s PR Managers in Europe about the best places to eat, sleep and party in their favourite cities.

Mazda recently upgraded a video platform for the media and that is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian and French. Once they access the portal, visitors are able to choose from a various number of videos with all the brand’s vehicles, from short driving scenes to extensive product films in which Mazda engineers explain all aspects of the model in detail.

Moreover, interviews with Mazda executives, designers and development engineers can also be accessed alongside a selection of ‘best of YouTube’ videos. In addition, short texts of each video give a preview of what content the user can expect. The new portal offers users the chance to select between low, high or full-screen mode, depending on their available bandwidth.
