Onboard Video of the Gazoo Racing Toyota GT-86

With its debut at this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race drawing ever closer, it’s good to see what the race-spec Toyota GT-86 by Gazoo Racing (Toyota’s motorsport partner) can do.
The race-prepared GT-86 is based on the production version of the car and features a tuned version of the 2.0-liter Subaru-developed boxer engine, which is clearly race tuned with its red line at around 9,000rpm. We think that its combination of nimble handling thanks to its very well balanced chassis, and the extra power it so needed will make this a very successful race car.

We hope its first outing is a successful one as the car has a lot of racing promise, and judging by the video published by Toyota’s Motorsports division, a video of the car driving around the Nurburgring, we think that the GT-86 has got a long racing career ahead of it.
