A Harley-Davidson Shovelhead and Filippo Barbacane's awesome bike-building art is a fast recipe for trouble, but this time it's the Trouble Head – an amazing piece of custom two-wheeled elegance.
This H-D only retains a fraction from its original attire, and is in fact a different bike altogether. The rear of the bike was cleared up, and a custom fender with an integrated tail light. The low seat was replaced by a lower custom one, blending in the retro spring-loading with the modern design perfection Barbacane's machines are known for.
The exhaust pipes are custom made, just like the insect-eye cover for air filter. And when it comes to blending in various design approaches, one just can't help gazing in awe at how Filippo decided to include the gauge in the custom tank, adding infinite cool points to the build. And to keep things on the retro side, he went for an oldschool gas level gauge on the left.
The metal flake painting is yet another exclusive element binding this Ironhead to the past glory, and the overall attire of the new-old Harley makes us think a whether Barbacane will ever invent some sort of universal treatment to be used on any vintage bike, causing it to retain the best old features, while modern, premium character is added. Sweet ride for a lucky biker... as the Trouble Head has already been sold.
