Oakley needs little introduction when it comes to performance apparel and accessories, and they're about to set a new standard as far as MX goggles are concerned, or at least that's what they say. The new Airbrake MX goggles are scheduled to surface officially on March 1st 2013 at Anaheim 1.
Oakley has uploaded a short video teaser on You Tube, while at the same time releasing a partial pcture of the new goggles. However, that's about all there is known to the public at the moment of writing, with more data to probably surface as the release date closes in.
From what we saw so far, the Airbrake MX goggles sport some of the technology to be found in the Airbrake Snow goggles. Oakley claims the new eyepiece will set a new standard in the segment and integrate innovative materials.
Notorious riders such as Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, and more, will most likely be seen wearing the new Oakley Airbrake MX goggles at Anaheim 1 in March. We'll bring further info as official details become available.
