To celebrate 85 years since the inception of the grueling Nordschleife racetrack, the 1927 24-Hour wristwatch has been launched this week. With its 24-hour set-up, the manufacturer recommends it when attending the Nurburgring 24-hour race as it helps to better keep track of the race.
There are two versions of the watch and, thankfully, it’s not particularly expensive as you pay around €85($110) for the 1.4 inch (3.6cm) version and around €105 ($140) for the 1.7-inch (4.3cm) version. The accuracy of the time-telling is assured by the Swiss quartz movement, and the watch can be kept scratch-free in the silver-metallic box it comes with.
The watches themselves have a simple design with a 24-hour set-up which may confuse some people before adjusting to it. To continue its simple design philosophy, it has a simple black leather strap which looks very good next to, and perfectly compliments, the stainless steel finish of the timepiece itself
