Electric cars had their fair share of criticism so far, and that's not something will suddenly stop. But here's a challenge for those who think EVs are no good: try hitting it with a soccer ball while wearing a blindfold.
How had can it be to hit a moving car with a soccer ball? Not too difficult, some of you might say, as you don't have to possess Leo Messi's or David Beckham's skill level to pull that off. But how about we make things spicier, the Nissan way?

The challenge wanted to find ou if ordinary people can do what Andrés Iniesta and Thiago Silva did in one of Nissan's videos; that is to play target practice with a Nissan Leaf while blindfolded and win. As you might expect, many fans responded, so Nissan selected a few of them for the unusual shootout.

For example, one participant claimed he can smell a car, while another one put her faith into the power of intuition. Their confidence was therefore put to the test on a special 'test area' created by Nissan.

After being blindfolded, the two brave wannabe soccer players found out the silence of an EV like the Nissan Leaf is not very helpful when you have to hit the car but can't see it. Each one had three chances, but we'll stop here before we reveal the video's ending and spoil all the fun.

In any case, don't try this at home and more important, don't use your mother's Nissan Leaf to train your soccer and target hitting skills.
