Nissan Goodies for 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon

Running at the same time with the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan's custom and after-market parts exhibition, will witness a powerful display of Nissan vehicles and technology.

Among the stars of Nissan's lineup will be the Roox Highway Star Urban Selection (a premium model based on the Roox and equipped with custom parts such as an advanced HDD navigation system, lighting components with custom exterior, and stylized cabin interior), the Skyline Sporty Package (sporty aero body-kit, a sports muffler, and high-performance suspension), Autech Japan's Rider Series of custom cars and the NISMO vehicles.

NISMO will take to the Makuhari Messe, where the event will be hosted, no less than three vehicles. The most exciting of all will be the 2010 Nissan GT-R with NISMO Club Sports Package. The GT-R will also feature the newly developed "NISMO Data Logger Kit", which makes it possible for the driver to download their driving data via USB and view it on a computer.

The second NISMO presence at the event will be the XANAVI NISMO GT-R, a car which won, two times in a row, the 2008 SUPER GT, including the title in its debut year.

The last car showcased by NISMO will be the Fairlady Z, the car named in October Japan’s Most Fun vehicle of 2009. In addition to the Fairlady, Nissan's booth will also host the "Kids & Ladies Ride Event," where those attending will be able to get the feel of a racing car, as well as the "Pitwork Simulation," where NISMO mechanics will be performing real tire changes and other race-oriented techniques.
