Night of the White Gloves at the BMW Museum

Hands on, everybody! In what will be a rare opportunity for BMW fans, the carmaker's museum will allow you to touch the exhibits, not only look at them. This will all happen during the Night of the White Gloves event, which will take place on Friday, November 26. Of course, everyone will be given white gloves to wear.

The above means that visitors will have the chance to experience the 120 exhibits covering 90 years of the brand’s history in a way they were never allowed to before. And, by the way, for tomorrow only, there will be no more peaking through the vehicles' windows.

The museum has decided to open up the doors to its models, giving a chance to passionate BMW fans to experience the interior of the cars as well. For a selected few, BMW chauffeurs will be on the scene aboard BMW’s New Class restored classics for a drive around north Munich.

The museum opens its doors for the Night of the White Gloves at 7 pm local time. Aside from the exhibition itself and the drives, BMW will also host a Living Workshops area filled with everything from restoration projects to a show and tell display of various trades and skills that are required for the professional restoration of vehicles.

All of the above treats will be accompanied by the music of The Royal Majestix. Meaning on Friday, BMW will be dancing reggae.

“We are very pleased to have set up this unusual event at the BMW Museum,”
said Ralf Rodepeter, BMW Museum director.
