“NEXT” A-Class Chases a Ramen Truck in Anime

Just as we told you a couple of days ago, Mercedes promoted the new A-Class in Japan with an anime. The compact hatchback is shown in the best light possible, featuring the AMG-style Sport body kit, with flared wheel arches, AMG wheels and big intakes.
This beautiful digitized A-Class actually previews a special edition that will go on sale in japan in 2013, the A 180 NEXT Sports Edition, which needless to say will be quite expensive.

In the anime, which thankfully has subtitles, the new Merc is being driven round the streets of a futuristic Tokyo, chasing the “legendary” noodle soup truck, which is modeled after the 1955 Blue Wonder, a very real transporter that Mercedes used to move its race cars in total style.

The thee main protagonists actually succeed in catching the ramen truck and go off on another adventure, chasing the “legendary tofu truck”.
