Like in most places outside of Germany, the new Mercedes S-Class isn't actually on sale in Dubai yet. The official website lists this exciting new model but doesn't offer pricing information.
As per usual, the people in the Emirates don't do things in halves. This is the most powerful current version of the S-Class, the S500 Long. Power comes from a 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 455 HP and 700 Nm of torque. It's good for 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and promises to burn just 12 liters of that very cheap Dubai fuel while cruising the streets of the city.
Carspotter11 filmed this S-Class in an underground parking garage and he believes it could be the first W222 production model in the country. That's not hard to fathom, considering it's got AlAin Class license plate holders. Those folks will do anything to get the first of every car in their showroom.
