We are less than a week away from the official reveal of the new Mercedes C-Class. We've been following its development for about a year now, and we're getting ever closer to the still secret elements that make this compact executive car.
Today, we received a new clip from Stuttgart spotter DrGumoLunatic. It's his seventh video of the new C-Class and this time he captured it on a trailer, still wearing some camouflage. It's interior completely in view, we catch a glimpse of its floating infotainment screen and all the shiny metallic trim on this potentially top-spec prototype.
Amusingly, the C-Class sedan prototype shares its trailer with the CLA and a couple of Volkswagen Tiguans. This should be Mercedes' own trailer, so what are a couple of VWs doing up there. Are these family cars for the technical staff or what?
Leaving brand favoritism aside, the compact executive segment has been missing a car like this new C-Class, what with the A4 being so old and BMW not being that good at making true luxury interiors for smaller cars. The C-Class has some really cool features, like seat adjustment controls mounted within reach on the doors rather than down below.
