Well, we had a look at the new Toyota Aygo in its first official pictures and videos, now let’s have a look at it in flesh and bones as it was showcased at the Toyota stand from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
We gotta say the new Aygo looks stunning even without digital enhancements and the orange one is definitely our favorite. The black X at the front with such a vivid color makes for a perfect combination while creating that floating roof effect. Let’s just hope it will be as fun to drive as it is to stare at it. Let’s just hope it will be as fun to drive as it is to stare at it. But we’ll have to wait until this summer to find out and see if we can fun ourselves with it.

The white one looks pretty nice too, thanks to those red lower inserts found on the front bumper, doors and rear apron. Of course, certain elements such as the big X can be had in other colors, but anything other than black turns it into a girly car. Check the extra photo here if you don’t think so.

Since we’re here, let’s check the new ‘x-touch’ infotainment system that is said to offer and impressive combination of on-board multimedia and smartphone connectivity. The x-touch uses a generous 7-inch touchscreen fully integrated within the instrument panel and it’s also the first one to offer a standard rear view camera for a small city car.

The main menu uses a simple and intuitive five-icon group - Phone, Audio Source, Smartphone Link, Setup and Car Information. Connectivity between the system and your phone or other device can be done by Bluetooth, AUX and USB and the system can also display album art when playing music. A wide selection of compatible apps will also allow the driver to access navigation and social media channels.

The rest of the interior looks pretty ergonomic and uncluttered, with the central console having only the air conditioning controls, while the steering wheel comes with the rest of the buttons for audio and other info.

And in the supermini tradition, the door cards configuration still allow for the body toned metal to be integrated in the design. So you better think twice what color you want the other customizable trim panels to have in order to aesthetically match.
