Lexus RC F GT3 Concept Making World Debut at 2014 Geneva Show

Great news for all you racing enthusiasts! Lexus will have another sportscar that will be introduced in world wide GT series - the RC F GT3.
The Lexus RC F GT3 will make its world premiere along with the new RC F Sport model at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next week, coming in almost the same color setup as the RC F GT500, with white and some multi-colored swooshes on the body, so try not to confuse it.

Based on the street performance Lexus RC F, the GT3 is lower and wider, but it better retains the design found on the street car. The wide body kit adds flared fenders, a lip spoiler, side skirts and a massive air diffuser at the back. Overall, the RC F GT3 is 2,000 mm wide, 1,270 mm high and 4,705 mm long, having a 2,730 mm wheelbase.

Performance will be midd-blowing, as the vehicle will weigh only 1,250 kg (2,755 lb) and it will be powered by a tuned RC F V8 engine that will make over 540. Looking at the interior, you can see there's no physical gear shifter, so the 8-speed enhanced gearbox will be controlled only by those steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The RC F GT3 will begin track tests this year, while racing teams will be able to officially receive the model in 2015. Certified by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, the RC F GT3 will be able to enter legendary races around the world, including 24 Hours of Nürburgring in Germany and the Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series in Japan.
