This December was the month of the 2015 Mustang, with Ford’s pony grabbing all the attention as the sixth-generation pony was unveiled on four different continents. However, the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro barged in to take a piece of the pie via a batch of sketches and a 1:3 scale model.
Out of the blue, two different sketches of the 2016 Camaro surfaced the Internet, showcasing a totally different design compared to the one introduced by Michael McGee during his internship at General Motors. The concepts shown above and below are more evolutionary than revolutionary, with the rear end looking more like a facelift of the current vehicle.
The front fascia, however, is pretty much different on both sketches. One of them retains a setup similar to that of the 2014 Camaro, while the other features two pairs of square headlamps, which would be a first for GM’s iconic musclecar. But don’t expect the next Camaro to take anything from these sketches, as Detroit has nothing to do with them.
