New SEAT Mii Is Ideal for the City

Last week, we showed you the third and hopefully final incarnation of the VW Group’s new citycar platform. Looking a bit like the old VW Lupo-based Arosa, the SEAT’s Mii now makes a video debut from in front of the studio lights and cameras that made it shine.
The SEAT Mii is being marketed as the perfect car for city driving, and it even promises to be nippy and fun. Sales of the VW Up!- based car will begin by the end of the year in Spain, with the rest of Europe to follow in the Spring of 2012.

The engine range is the same as in its VW and Skoda relatives, which means you’ll be able to choose between two petrol 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines developing 60 and 75 hp and emitting 105 and 108 grams of CO2 per km, respectively. Expect prices to start at just over €9,000 (about $12,000).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
