VW Painted Frankfurt in Exclamation Marks for Up Debut!!!

We’re back from Frankfurt, an the first impression is that the VW Up is a great car with a lot of potential. Sure, it might only be a citycar, but the Germans clearly have big plans with it, as we saw a handful of concepts to preview everything from cross models to beach buggies.
But you can’t get away from the fact that the segment is filled with great cars like the Kia Picanto and Toyota Aygo. Enter the Volkswagen marketing machine and their “up! Town” campaign!

A video has just been uploaded to their Youtube channel showing a look behind the scenes of the event. Oddly enough, it all kicks off with a bunch of young... gentlemen putting exclamation marks on the Frankfurt pavement using spray cans and stencils. We bet that’s biodegradable paint. Right VW?!

The exclamation mark also gets project onto buildings, so you won’t miss it if you’re a resident of the city.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
