New Peugeot 308 Press Film: Eyes on Fire

Doing bold car designs is a hit-and-miss sort of business. Take Peugeot, for example. Their 208 supermini is widely accepted as being a good design and the sales numbers have shown this. But this new 308, well it's not exactly an easy car to like.
Months have passed since we first saw the second generation compact car, but we still can't exactly say we love it. It does however have a sharpness to its design, one which is clearly evoked in this first presentation video released moments ago. That feline aggressiveness is brought out using Blue Foundation's epic song Eye on Fire.

As the 308 is going though the tunnel, the appeal of those tiger-scratched taillights and the feline eyes are not lost on us. It's certainly a French car through and through, this new Peugeot.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
